Shows and Events - December 2011
Hello all,
This end of year 2011 is a great time to catch some shows at the UCB! Lots of shows celebrating diversity:
- The Soul Glo Project
Midnight - Sat. Dec. 17 - UCBeast - $5
Join Keisha Zollar as she hosts the Soul Glo Project a comedy variety show featuring a diverse cast of performers bringing to the stage the very best stand up, sketch, improv, video, dance, and music. With Naomi Ekperigin, Nobody’s Token, Olmpia Gyros, Pou Productions & more! - The Longest Harold Night of the Year
8 pm - Tue. Dec. 20 - UCB Chelsea - $20
December 20th is the longest night of the year, and it’s also The Longest Harold Night of the Year! Every UCB Theatre Harold Team performs on this night to spread cheer and glad tidings - and some funny ass shit! - Thursday Dec. 22 there are four one women shows in a row at UCB Chelsea! For $10, you’ll get four ladies on stage starting at 8!
POSE (With Sue Galloway), Minimum Rage (with Sue Smith), Everybody’s Dumb and Boring (with Joanna Bradley), and NAKED PEOPLE (with Julia Wiedman). - Finally, you can also catch InvAsian at the People’s Improv Theater tonight at 7 pm ($5, free with any student ID form any school). The team just recently had a nod from Time Out New York! Watch what happens when the funniest local Asian talents from The PIT, UCB, and Magnet get chop sueyed together for improvised craziness. These guys are taking everything they know about math, dry cleaning, nursing, academically demanding parents, Tony Jaa, online roleplaying games, fish, outsourced call centers, Gojira, & cab driving, and tossing it all in the wok for you to eat up with a hot cup of tea!
